The Belair Park Caravan Park is situated in the Belair National Park and adjacent to the Belair Golf Course. Belair is located 13km south of Adelaide. This park is desperately in need of a good make over and requires a good injection of capital to make it competitive with other caravan parks in Adelaide. The park is somewhat spoilt by poor quality permanent caravans and sub standard cabin accommodation. Nearby Upper Sturt Road is very busy and traffic noise is very intrusive during the day and would also be noticeable, to some extent, at night. The park has 59 tourist sites of which 53 are powered. Note from Park Manager: Having read your write up on Belair National Park Caravan Park we are a little disappointed. We understand that your opinion of the park was formed in less than 20 minutes, and without even looking inside our cabin accommodation or spending a night here. As managers of this park we take pride in its cleanliness & ensure that we provide a friendly atmosphere for all of our customers to make sure that they have an enjoyable holiday with us. We find the comment “Sub standard cabin accommodation” a little harsh. We have 4 standard cabins & 12 ensuite cabins, which are all extremely clean & comfortable to stay in. Traffic noise is not an issue for most sites…actually most people who visit this park comment of the peacefulness & beautiful location. No, This Park does not have all the mod cons, but does provide beautiful surrounds within the National Park that you will not find anywhere else in Adelaide.
