Ashford (population < 1,000) is situated 56km north of Inverell. It is a pleasant little town and the locals are very friendly. The Ashford Caravan Park is very spacious, rarely crowded and adjacent to the town's swimming pool. The powered sites are generous in size and the amenities are clean and adequate. Just turn up there is no need to book.
