Ballina Central is a Council owned park situated on River Street with views of the Richmond River. The park does not have any permanents as it wholly caters for tourists. Facilities are immaculate especially the amenities block which would rate among the best I have seen anywhere. The park has good paved roads and is managed by Mark and Maxine Blackburne, an enthusiastic young couple. Powered sites for caravans are quite spacious and well maintained. Caravan owners are guided on to their site by one of the staff. Ballina Central is part of the Family Parks of Australia Network. Bookings can be made by telephoning 02 6686-2220.
