Location map of Balranald

Balranald is a small town of 1,400 people located on the Murrumbidgee River 852km south-west of Sydney. Balranald Caravan Park is a very neat well maintained park with 24 tourist sites. The park appears to be very new and has a wonderful old bridge relic in the middle. Pets are welcome. The park has 15 cabins, a nice camp kitchen, modern amenities and all roads throughout are sealed. The park is close to where the Sturt Highway goes over the Murrumbidgee River so some traffic noise is unavoidable. Bookings can be made by telephoning 03 5020-1321. We stayed here on our way to Canberra for a dog show. We had a budget ensuite cabin which was very clean and suited us perfectly. We were able to park our dog float and car right outside the door. Ample lawns and roadways to walk our dogs. We & our dogs were made to feel welcome and we will certainly be staying here again.Merry P, Adelaide SA..
