Barrow Creek Roadhouse & Caravan Park is located on the Stuart Highway at Barrow Creek which is 1,214km south of Darwin. We are not sure what facilities are available in this park for tourists so you should check prior to visiting. If you stay here then please send us relevant information and photographs. This would be very much appreciated. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you found them on Caravan Park Photos.
The town was named after John Henry Barrow, a preacher, journalist and politician who had migrated to South Australia in 1853. At the time of the creation of the town he was Treasurer of South Australia. The naming of the town after him seemed to have little impact on its fortunes as the government was defeated in 1873.
