Bawley Point (population 450) is situated 258km south of Sydney. Bawley Point is an old timber town known for its arts and crafts. The Racecourse Beach Tourist Park is very spacious and covers quite a lot of acreage. The park has 305 powered sites many in bushland setting. Most of the sites are sandy grass with nice bush smells and bird life. One corner of the park has a set of very stylish cottages. The swimming pool is quite large and the park also has some nice tennis courts. A delightful creek runs through the center of the park.
