Located 690 klms south-west of Sydney via the Hume and Riverina Highways, Berrigan is a quiet country town with a population of around 1,000 residents. Golfers will enjoy the 18 hole golf course and there are bowling greens, tennis and squash courts and skate board ramp for the sport enthusiasts. Berrigan has a strong interest in horse training and there is a carnival atmosphere every November when the Berrigan Gold Cup races are held. There are places of interest around the district including a 30 minute drive to Cobram and the Murray River or a 45 minute drive to Yarrawonga. Berrigan is situated about 4 hours drive north of Melbourne.

The Berrigan Lions Club Caravan Park is situated in a quiet, shady, grassed area one kilometre south of the Post Office and within walking distance to shops. There are 14 powered sites, 14 unpowered sites, 7 sewered sites and free grey water dump. Shared washing and drying facilities are available for a fee. Large rigs are welcome, there is a playground, BBQ and pets are allowed with conditions.
