The Black Springs Golf Course is located at Temples Lane at Bakers Creek which is approximately 6km south of Mackay. Setting up and running a private golf course without pokie revenue takes a lot of courage and commitment. Black Spings Golf Course is quite a remarkable private course with many surprises and challenges. It is a work in progress so don't expect everything to be perfect. If you fancy yourself to be a good golfer then you really should test yourself on this course because it will test you. Each hole doubles for the second nine so check the numbers on the course before you head out as you could find yourself in a golfing traffic jam. Apart from this you'll enjoy the pleasant views that each hole provides. Beware of the hidden water trap on the ninth!
