| Barooga is a town of 1100 people situated across the river from Cobram. Barooga is 250km north of Melbourne. The Cobram Barooga Golf Course is a great attraction for the town. This 36 hole course is considered one of the best on the Murray. Arts and crafts flourish in Barooga and no visit to the town is complete if you miss the Daveile Gallery. The gallery has a wide range of oil lamps, dolls, exquisite china and lots of other bits and pieces. |
