| Moama is a border town directly across the river from Echuca. As with many towns along the Murray River it began as a crossing and has a colorful history. The town has a population of 2470 people and is growing all the time. The Bowling Club is the largest of several clubs in the town and attracts a lot of visitors from Echuca. The town has a number of nice restaurants including a very good Thai and Chinese. Most of the caravan parks in Moama are located near the river. |
