| Port Welshpool has a nominal population of 250 people is located 191 km south-east of Melbourne. The port has an interesting marine history being used by whalers in the early 1800's. Today it is a quiet, relaxed village and an ideal getaway for those who enjoy tranquil holidays. The long jetty has been closed but there are still plenty of nice walks and things to see. |
