Carey Bay is situated on the western side of Lake Macquarie not far from Toronto. The park has some nice cabins with Lake views. Amenities are good. Only a limited number of powered sites for caravans are available so try to book ahead. Bookings can be made by telephoning 02 4959-1271.

Stayed at this park last August 2006. Amenities were not cleaned for the four days we were there, no grass on sites and as it rained the whole time we were there site became a mud pile, office staff not overly pleasant and certainly not helpful, site was small and our parking spot was used by the cabins. Overall not a good stay.
