Cervantes Pinnacles Beachfront Caravan Park - Cervantes WA

Pet Friendly

The Cervantes Pinnacles Beachfront Caravan Park, Western Australia, has fantastic beach-front holiday accommodation and camp sites overlooking spectacular sunsets on the Indian Ocean.
This caravan park is close to the famous Pinnacles rock formations (just a 15 minute drive away).
The township of Cervantes adjoins the beaches of the Coral Coast and is located some 254 kilometres north of Perth and just two kilometres west of the entrance to Nambung National Park, home to the rocks of the Pinnacles.
Cervantes is an ideal camping base to holiday and explore the natural wonders of WA's Coral Coast and outlying national parks.
Holiday camping accommodation at Cervantes Pinnacles Caravan Park is within a tranquil, picturesque setting and the location is perfect for travellers exploring the spectacular beaches that line the Coral Coast.
The caravan park has large drive-through sites with more than enough room for buses and five wheelers, unlike most other caravan parks.
Both Perth and Geraldton are just a couple of hours away so late check-in is possible on Friday nights till 9pm and visitors don't have to check out till late Sunday afternoon.
Pinnacles Caravan Park has a three star rating from the Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia.
The park enjoys plenty of cool shade provided by mature trees and has two large, well-grassed tent areas with all necessary amenities.
The park is adjacent to the protected waters of Ronsard Bay and has enjoyed substantial refurbishment since 2006.

We stayed there in September and enjoyed the area and the park, it was ok but lacked some of the modernisation need. The amenities were clean and maintained but old. The camp kitchen was not suitable in the poor weather we got when we stayed but over all I thought it one of the better parks in the general area. The little kiosk served great meals and afternoon teas.

We stayed here overnight in August 2014 as it is close to The Pinnacles Desert Park and Lake Thetsis where ancient rock like rhombolites are growing in the salt lake. The park has quite a few permanent residents and sites and generally has grassed sites. The roads through park could be improved and on rainy days, pools of water lie here and there. The reception cafe area is reasonable for a quick snack/meal. The park provides close access to the very well maintained and developed beach front and kids playground. Facilities when we were there, while not new, were quite reasonable and cleaned regularly.

Photos very obviously supplied by the management. They do not show the primitive conditions within the park itself.
