Shady Glen Tourist Park is located on the corner of Stuart Highway and Farrell Crescent, Winnellie. There are 200 powered and 100 unpowered sites available for caravans, campers and motorhomes. A wide selection of cabin and room accommodation is available to meet all budgets. The park has magnificent tropical gardens and a salt water swimming pool. It is a member of the Top Tourist Park Network. The Resident Managers are Peggy and Des Evans. Brenda - although beautiful surroundings and nice facilities, stayed inan overpriced cabin, we found the staff unhelpful and abrupt when answering queries. We were new to the country and didnt yet have a cell phone, the phone on site was broken so we were told to walk 1.5 kms to the nearest petrol station as their phone was not for public use.....would not recommend staying here again, we have since stayed in other local parks and wish we had been there first....

Good park, amenities ok, can be dusty during dry season as roads in park are unsealed. Water pressure can be an issue depending on number of vans present. As name suggests there is plenty of shade and lawn sites and slabs are available.Only 8 minutes to CBD and is in close proximity to majority of attractions and neccessities.Enjoyed our stay.
