Dorrigo is a town of 1,000 people situated 576km from Sydney and 40km west of Coffs Harbour. The town has magnificent rainforest, waterfalls and rolling countryside. The Dorrigo Mountain Resort & Caravan Park has 49 sites of which 20 are for tourists. Cabin accommodation is also available and each cabin has a unique name. The park is looking tired and neglected. Facilities are pretty ordinary. The park is on the Waterfall Way so some traffic noise will be experienced from time to time. Dorrigo is only a short drive from the coast so if you are planning to visit this town my recommendation would be to stay in a nice coastal park and take a day trip up the mountain.
