The Yarraby Holiday & Tourist Park Resort is situated in a quiet rural environment 4km east of the Water Tower. The park is surrounded by attractive bushland which is home to many varieties of birds and native animals. The park has excellent facilities and BBQs are well placed. Good signage and paved roads make it easy to move around the park. The park has 54 tourist sites of which 8 are ensuite. The only downside to this lovely park is the excessive night lighting. Some parts of the park are lit up by powerful tower lights which would be more appropriate in a prison camp. The lights are so bright that when you move through them into darkened areas it is hard to see your way. It is a mystery to me why some parks waste an enormous amount of electricity on excessive lighting when ground level subdued lights would more than satisfy. Yarraby is a beautiful park and if the lights were toned down it would be hard to fault. Yarraby Holiday & Tourist Park Resort is a member of the Top Tourist Parks Network.
