Situated just a stone's throw from the giant merino ram statue, a famous Goulburn icon, the Goulburn South Caravan Park reflects the shearing theme with a wonderful outside BBQ shed which is really worth seeing. The owners of the park are very welcoming and helpful. The park has a good variety of cabin accommodation which is ideal for familes and backpackers. Drive-through caravan sites are available and a large area has been set aside for tents and campers. The park has a staggering 112 powered sites so you should have no trouble getting a place. The drought has made it difficult for the park to stay green but the owners are optimistic that the rains will eventually come. Bookings can be made by telephoning 02 4821-3233.
