Harden is a small country town of 3,800 people situated 377km south of Sydney. The area is very scenic and the town has great charm as you can see from the photos below. The town was first settled by squatters in 1830 and the population grew substantially during the gold rush period of the 1850s. The town has a reliable rainfall and this supports many types of crops. The Harden Caravan Park is small but very friendly. A resident caretaker welcomes guests who can choose their own site. Amenities are adequate and a number of cabins are available. Bookings are not necessary just check in when you arrive.
