North Star Resort is very modern and combines many diffrent accommodation options including resort accommodation. The park is ideal for family holidays and is close to beach and shops. Powered sites have their own private area with shubs providing privacy. The resort has 89 tourist sites with ensuite sites also available. Bookings can be made by telephoning 02 6676-1234.

A fantastic 5 star park that the whole family enjoyed. At the top end of price scale but the friendly locals, the spotless amenities and BBQ's, numerous kids facilities and activities, clean, shady pools all justify the cost. There are varied local attractions and it is accessible, albeit a long day trip, to the Goldcoast theme parks if families want this option. Downsides are very squeezy van sites, compared to other parks we have stayed at (although they do park your van on site)The on site restaurant was having some major service problems of the bad variety, although this is probably not Northstars fault as it is a separate operation to them, but it did get to be a major point of disatisfaction for us. The private bathrooms (not the normal ensuites) Northstar offer are HUGE and good value at $8.00 a night. All our bags were stored there for 10 days and this freed up a lot of room in the van for the 4 of us. It is a feature other parks may wish to consider. Tony Searl. Forster NSW
