The Hat Head Holiday Park is located at Straight Street, Hat Head. Hat Head is a quiet seaside village surrounded by the unspoilt beauty of the Hat Head National Park. It’s perfect for anyone seeking a holiday experience that combines beach and nature at its best. The long sandy beach, rocky headlands and peaceful creek are a photographers dream and a fisherman’s paradise.

Hat Head is famed as being one of Australia’s best fishing spots due to its close proximity to the continental shelf. Hat Head Holiday Park is the ideal base for a relaxing holiday. Accommodation to suit everyone, including modern self contained cabins and a special access unit. Just a hop step and a jump to the beach, the creek and the Australian Bush - what more could you ask for!
The park has 300 powered and unpowered sites. Town water, septic toilets, hot showers and a laundry with coin operated washing machines and dryers and ironing facilities.
Fully equipped cabins with living area, double bed and bunks (separate bedrooms). Blankets, linen and towels required. Shower, toilet, colour television, video, convection microwave, refrigerator, hot plates and griller. Covered deck. One cabin is designed as a special access unit (one separate bedroom) to ensure that people with a disability, or the elderly, can have a happy and worry free vacation.

This park is simple but in such a beautiful spot. Quiet and peaceful only minutes away from Hat Head national park which has lots of beautiful scenery. The park has 3 amenities blocks one of which was closed so not sure if it was being up graded or had problems with it. One amenities block housed only showers and no toilets. It is need of and upgrade as it is quite old. It also housed a very basic camp kitchen. Near by is a clean public toilet block which is also used by the caravan park. This is because there is public access to the near by beach and boat ramp so it appears to be a shared toilet block. There is a large locked amenities block with the only laundry at the front of the park but it is not close to all sites. If you have an on board bathroom there is a pick of some lovely sites near the tidal river which are a little bit of a walk to the amenities. There is no pool and there is a good public playground a short walk away in the public park. There is also a huge BBQ hut with gas BBQs and picnic tables and this is also a public BBQ area but used by the caravan park. There are 2 general stores for basic supplies near by and take away food. The park is situated right opposite a bowls and entertainment club.
