Healesville is a town of 6,350 people located 61km east of Melbourne. The town is famous for wildlife preservation. BIG4 Badger Creek Holiday Park is located in a lovely bush setting and is adjacent to a running brook. The park has 88 sites of which 58 are for tourists. The park has some lovely timber cabins with views of a small lake. Amenities are excellent. My only beef with this park is that on the night I stayed they had a large spotlight blazing into the pool area. The light went out at 9pm but I doubt in the middle of winter than anyone would be swimming. With climate change forcing all of use to conserve energy I would like to encourage this park, and others, to use spotlights sparingly, and preferable only as required.
