As owners of this hotel we were very concerned to read Mr. Townsend's comments. This is the first adverse comment we have had with respect to our hotel and service in the two years we have owned the hotel. We are very sorry that Mr. Townsend received this type of service. The many hundreds of travellers and locals also are often very complimentary about the service at the hotel and we feel our staff are second to none on the Mid North Coast. We do not make excuses - ever - for poor service and can only think that it was on a day when the hotel was unexpectedy busy and temporarily understaffed for a time. We are an RV Friendly hotel which greatly appreciates the additional business brought to our country hotel by our RV travelling patrons, indeed many of them return time and time again just because of the hospitality extended to them. We can only apologise for the untypical service Mr. Townsend received on the day in question and hope that we can put this right for him at some other time in the future. Ken

Sadly the service here leaves a lot of be desired. I suspect that if you are not a local then you are going to be ignored by the staff until they are served. When I arrived at the bar to order lunch there were 3 people waiting. A number of locals came to order drinks and the bar maid served them. I gave up in disgust and left after 15 minutes of waiting.
