One of the pleasant surprises that you experience when you enter the Katoomba Falls Caravan Park is a cheery "hello" from a silver crested cockatoo near the office. He sets the tone for what is a pleasant and friendly park. The park is owned by the Blue Mountains City Council and run by Ken and Val Dowling who are enthusiastic and friendly. Facilities are very good and the slabs on the power sites are well made with easy access. Some nice timber cottages are available for rent. The park is within easy walking distance to Scenic World which contains the Skyway, Cableway and the steepest railway ride in the world. Bookings can be made by telephoning 02 4782-1835.
