We stayed at Drifters last weekend and it was an exellent park. We presume it was Reg who assisted us to park our van and he did a fantastic job in doing so. He must have had lots of practice! Againwe assume it was Dianne who checked us in and she was a very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an ensuite site and the bathroom while not huge was modern and spotlessly clean. The hot water was very reliable as well. The park is well maintaned with every tree, bush or plant looking like it belonged to the botanic gardens. The lawns are in a very healthy conditiona also. While the park has permenants, their homes are in exellent condition and their well kept gardens add to the attractiveness of the place. The park is a bit of a walk to the beach but very easily accessed from the park and preasents no problem getting there. The beach is long and is exellent for surfing if you are into that sort of thing! The park is next to the motorway but while one side of the park backs onto it, the traffic is not too much of a annoyance while staying in other parts of the park. Kingscliff itself is an attractive sea side town with lots of nice little eateries and shops along the beach front. We enjoyed the views and the beach with its crashing waves. Would definately recomend this park and Kingscliff as a weekend getaway or longer if you have the time.
