Hire a boat - or bring your own; water-ski; windsurf; try a canoe or the paddleboats, it's your choice of on-water fun at Lakes Entrance. A really lovely park. Fairly open and excellent Ensuites. Some sites have concrete annex pads but mostly firm green matting. Amenities blocks are modern and clean. If you stay with kids, book a site in the 'round' area so you will be near the playground. Playground and jumping pillow sits in the centre with the caravans fanning out around it. If you don't have kids and prefer to the quiet then ask for another site. There are plenty of nice ones on offer. Park allows small dogs but I would prefer to see parks allowing big dogs too. There are a few modern cabins to choose from but there aren't too many unlike other parks, so there is more room for RVs. This makes the park lovely and roomy as I mentioned above. Good undercover BBQ (free gas) area with seating and lighting also another not covered BBQ area with seating and lighting. Nice, clean pool. Some arcade games to play by BBQ area. TV reception good. All roads are sealed in the park. Recycle bins available and a good roomy dump point for large motor homes. Secure entrance to the park with separate lane to check in. The beach is a short walk and is excellent for beach fishing. The town is lovely and nice walking tracks by the foreshore with lots of fishing boats. There is a Woolworths and Food works in town, also some other clothes shops and lots of fish and chip shops. Went to great pizza shop called 'Old mans Pizza' Yummy! Great mini golf in town and a shell museum. Caves 40 minutes away by car. Lakes Entrance is a really lovely spot to relax and have some simple fun by the sea.
