Marysville Caravan and Holiday Park - Marysville VIC

Christine and Ken previously from the Scenic Bed and Breakfast Motel, have just reopened the Marysville Caravan and Holiday Park. They write: "There is still plenty of work to be done, we hope you will understand that it will be a while before the park returns to the previous beauty that we all remember". There are self contained cabins and a few powered sites. The park is part of the Family Parks of Australia network. Bookings can be made by telephoning 03 5963-3247 and please let the park know that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on 19th July, 2008 - a cold winter's day. These photos show the park as it was prior to the major bushfire that devastated the town.
Marysville is a small town of 800 people 97km NE of Melbourne. The town is a popular tourist destination and also gateway to the snowfields. The Marysville Caravan Park is a charming place surrounded by natural bushland and yet within easy walking distance of the main town. The Park has reopened after being damaged in the Black Saturday bushfires that seriously affected Marysville. Tourists are most welcome. A babbling brook intersects the park and relaxing on a seat beside this flowing water would be a great way to relieve stress.
