Aragunnu Campground - Mimosa Rocks National Park NSW

The coastal areas are popular for surfing, fishing, snorkelling, birdwatching and taking in the sights. Car-based camping is available at Aragunnu, Picnic Point and Gillards Beach, and backpack camping at Middle Beach (fees apply, payable on site). There's caravan camping at Gillards Beach; other areas are not recommended for caravans. Picnic facilities are available at Aragunnu, Picnic Point, Bithry Inlet, Middle Beach and Gillards Beach.
Access 22 km north-east of Bega off the Tathra-Bermagui road. The roads are unsealed but are suitable for 2WD in all weather. Wheelchair access: easy
There's a 200 m boardwalk to fine coastal views, as well as a shorter paved path to a lookout over the beach, both with information boards. The two picnic areas have an uneven grassy surface. One toilet is accessible with assistance. The beach is not accessible.
From this campground you can take a short walk to the Mimosa Rocks volcanic rock formation, Aragunnu Beach and some good fishing spots.
Extra information about camping at this campground: in some areas you can park your car on your campsite, but in others you can only park beside your site. You'll need to bring your own drinking water. Maximum length of stay: two weeks during school holiday periods; four weeks at other times.
Getting there: Turn off the Tathra-Bermagui Road onto Aragunnu Road, north of Wapengo.

Bookings: No bookings are taken for this campground. The campsite is accessible by all weather unsealed roads suitable for 2wd vehicles

In the northern section of the park, turn off the Tathra-Bermagui Road onto Aragunnu Road, halfway between Bunga and Wapengo.
You can park a trailer, or a tent in this campground - but no caravans
There are a total of 50 campsites
Stays are limited to two weeks in peak times, and four weeks otherwise. You need to bring your own drinking water. There are walks to see volcanic formations and the beach. One toilet is accessible by wheelchair, with assistance, and the picnic areas have an uneven grassy surface. There is a short boardwalk to great views, but the beach is not wheelchair-accessible.
