Mudgee is a town of 8,000 people situated in an area favourable for wine growing and general agriculture. The town has a number of caravan parks but my pick is the Mudgee Tourist & Van Resort. The park is situated in a quiet area well away from the highway. It is quite spacious and amenities are excellent. The park is located on the southern side of Mudgee. Powered sites for caravans are well located and offer good shade. The reception area is modern with good supplies if you run short of anything.
