Murwillumbah has undergone quite a transformation since the new Pacific Highway bypass took traffic away from the town. One of the beneficiaries of this move is the Greenhills Caravan Park. Prior to the highway move this park would have been plagued by traffic noise day and night. However it is now a peaceful haven set among lush sugar cane and tropical trees. The park is very well presented the the owners, Stewart & Gwyneth Payne, have put an enormous amount of effort into completely renovating and upgrading the park. Their hard work is now rewarded by lots of repeat visits from people who have discovered its magic. The couple shown in the BBQ area photo told me that this was their favorite park from hundreds they have visited. Murwillumbah is a good location for exploring the Golf and Tweed Coast without the hassles of big city life and pressures. Bookings can be made by telephoning 02 6672-2035.
