The Nambucca Heads Island Golf Course is a gem. Situated beside the magnificent Nambucca River the course has an abundance of natural beauty and lots of challenging holes. If you love to play around water then there is plenty available. The greens and fairways are very well maintained and the layout provides good variety.

The Par 3 Hole 5 can be a bit confusing with several greens in view. The best option is to follow the arrow on the tree which points direct ahead. Players who are alert and prepared will easily determine the green but I have know some who have hit to the wrong green. Hole 9 has a challenging start over water with plenty of trees and shrubs on the left to draw in the ball.
