Rathdowney Caravan Park - Rathdowney QLD
Rathdowney is a very small town of only a few hundred residents. It has very little to offer tourists but if you want a relaxing, scenic place to stay then this could be just right. It is only a short drive to Beaudesert if you need a supermarket or crave a Maccas burger. Rathdowney Caravan Park is located next to the Showground and behind the Post Office. The park has recently undergone some renovations and reports suggest it is a lovely place to stay. There are a number of powered sites for caravans and large area for tents and campers is available. The area around Rathdowney is very scenic and worth exploring. Bookings are not required so just turn up and the caretaker will contact you.
Having stayed at this park approximately for the last two years roughly every three months my wife and I could not think of a better place for a nice quiet holiday. The peace and quiet is just beautiful. We cannot speak too highly of the caretakers they are very polite to talk to and are willing to help out as much as possible. The park is kept in a very clean and neat appearence and we will keep on returning. Kevin Wilson, Logan QLD.
