Please note this is no longer the phone contact for the Snowtown Caravan Park. The caretakers number is 0428751003. Thanks.

We recently stayed at the park after reading a good report in the Camp 8 book.
We did as requested on sign and chose a site and began to set up.We parked to shield ourselves from the prevailing wind.
The caretaker came up spoke rudely and told us we could not park in the way we were. We had noticed both other (2) occupied sites were taking up exactly the same amount of space as we were. When we questioned why we could not use the same space as the other campers he told us we could go somewhere else if we didn't like it.
We changed the position of our camper van and stayed.
We believe you need to be made aware of this rather unnecessary and aggressive attitude to visitors. It certainly soured our perception of an otherwise lovely spot.
