The East's Soldiers Holiday Park is adjacent to the Soldiers Bowling Club which has excellent amenities and delicious food. The park is only a short walk to safe swimming. The park has good amenities including a large motel style accommodation block. The resident managers are Peter and Johanna East. East's is part of the Big4 Holiday Parks Network. This is a fantastic park for families with children and caters well for kids up to 12 years with plenty of facilities all in a centralised area of the park. You could actually spend a week there without leaving the park. Club is a short stroll next door and has a large bistro for family meals. We camped here during the September school holidays and although the park was close to full it did not seem crowded. Our powered site was very grassy but the last couple of sites closest to the car park are a bit bare, probably from vehicle "shortcuts" when not occupied. Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. The park is well maintained and rules are enforced when required eg. overage kids who ventured into the 0-4 softplay facility were reminded of the rules and asked to leave the playground. Amenities block was clean as was the camp kitchen. We will definitely go back there. Tracey O'Neill, Sydney NSW.
