Six Mile Creek - South East Forest National Park NSW
Scenic drives provide access to picnic areas at Six Mile Creek, White Rock River, Wolumla Peak, Myrtle Mountain, Goodenia Rainforest, Big Jack and Myanba Creek. At Myanba Gorge, viewing platforms look out across theTowamba Valley. Viewing platforms at Pipers Lookout on Brown Mountain offer dazzling views across the Bega Valley. Car-based camping (not for caravans) is available at Six Mile Creek, Postmans Track, Nunnock Swamp and Waratah Creek.

Six Mile Creek is 12 km west of Candeloonthe
Tantawangalo Mountain Road (unsealed). Access to Myanba Gorge is via Coolangubra Forest Way and Kanoonah Road (both unsealed) or along the Bucky Springs Road south-east from Bombala. Pipers Lookout is 60 km west of Bega along the Snowy Mountains Highway. Picnic, walk, camp or just sit and relax by the pristine waters of Six Mile Creek. The original Tantawangalo Mountain Road to this site was forged around 1860.
Across the road from the picnic area is the start of an easy 20 minute walk (300m return). A viewing platform overlooks the cascading waters on their way to meet Tantawangalo Creek.
This is a great place for walking and scenic drives.

Water supply: Tank water is provided (though it is not recommended for drinking). The campsite is accessible by all weather unsealed roads suitable for 2wd vehicles

This campsite is 12km west of Candelo (south of Bega) along the Tantawangalo Mountain Road.
You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite - no caravans or camper trailers

A nice spot to explore this section of the park, with nice day-walking nearby. A water tank is provided on site (not suitable for drinking).
