Dawson River Tourist Park - Taree NSW
Taree (population 20,000) is situated 310km north of Sydney. Dawson River Tourist Park has some nice riverside powered sites for caravans and also good quality cottage accommodation. Have a walk around so that you can select a good site. The park has 34 tourist sites. The resident managers are Phillip and Dianne Avery. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell them that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos.

Set on the river it is a very simple but nice park. Nice pool but a bit of walk from sites. Amenities are a bit of a walk up the hill are not close to all sites. Nice cabins. No roads are sealed. There is an area where big rigs such as buses can park. But would need at least on board toilet because of location to amenities. Short drive into Taree where all your shopping needs are covered.

We have stayed at this Caravan Park a few times now. Spending at least a week. The managers are very obliging and friendly. Very good amenities (even though a bit of a hill if you are on the lower level near the river) I highly recommend it.
