The Tenterfield Showgrounds are situated within walking distance of the shops. It is a large grassed area that will accommodate big rigs. There are powered and unpowered sites. You pay the care taker who lives in the house opposite the grounds. There is a nice little creek running along behind the sites. The cost per night for powered sites is only $18 and unpowered sites are $16 per night. The amenities are clean. They also have a toilet and shower with wheelchair access. This is a very pleasant place to stay and is very quiet as it is away from any highway.
