Texas (population 750) is situated on the NSW/Queensland border 320kn SW of Brisbane.
Texas Van Park, previously Three Rivers Caravan Park, is small and was mainly occupied by permanents when I visited. This seems reasonable enough considering that they probably do not get a lot of passing traffic. The town is quite pleasant. The park seems to have only 2 or three tourist sites but I understand that improvements have recently been made and I am awaiting new photos from the park. The owner is Robert Hutchinson.
