As the name suggests the Riverside Caravan Park is located adjacent to the Macquarie River, 1.5km from the Wellington Post Office. The park is set on 6 acres and is very well maintained. The park is run by Tony and Kay Abra and Tony is a real character. You will be made to feel very much at home. The park has some nice powered sites with river views and there is plenty of room for tents and campers. Pets are welcome but conditions apply. Some traffic noise may be unavoidable as the park is adjacent to the Mitchell Highway. Bookings can be made by telephoning 02 6845-1370. Photos on this page were taken on 1st September 2006.

A lovely park in a very interesting town, spotless clean toilets and showers, BBQ area with tables and seats, nice view of river, some traffic noise but ceases after dark, tariff was reasonable, a visit to Wellington Caves is a must, highly recommended to anyone travelling in that area.
