Agnes Water Beach Caravan Park - Agnes Water QLD
The
Agnes Water Beach Caravan Park is located at Jeffrey Court Agnes Water. The park has powered and unpowered sites. Resident Managers are on site. Bookings can be made by
telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos.
Photos and report on this page were supplied by our roving reporters Mike and Minnette in June 2010.
Mike and Minnette write: "Agnes Water Beach Caravan Park is the only caravan park in Agnes Water proper, just a stone's throw from the shopping centre. The park is not overly large with 64 powered sites and about 20 unpowered tent sites. There are also 13 unique "safari tent cabins" ranging in price from $120 p/n off peak. All sites have slabs, the grass cover is adequate but there is very little shade. This park recently reopened in November 2009 and is still in the process of rejuvenation.
Powered beachside caravan sites are $45 p/n 2A off peak and the standard powered sites are $35 p/n. A stay 7 pay 6 discount applies. The beachside sites are only marginally closer to the beach than the other sites and not really beachside - the beach being at least 100m away. The sites are quite adequate for larger caravans. There is only one amenities block which I doubt would cope in peak season. The laundry is very small and as far as I could ascertain, only has one washing machine. The camp kitchen is basic but clean. There is a children's playground.
The office/reception is 50m from the entrance which can be a bit confusing. Reception shares an area with a small coffee shop which also has snacks and pastries. Adjoining this is a lovely open air seating area with chairs and tables. Staff is very friendly and will escort each new camper to their camp site.
The beach is beautiful and clean with quite a few of our fellow campers wetting a line from the beach fishing for whiting - with varying degrees of success.
This is a park we would definitely stay at again."
