Balranald is a small town of 1,400 people located on the Murrumbidgee River 852km south-west of Sydney. Balranald Caravan Park is a very neat well maintained park with 24 tourist sites. The park appears to be very new and has a wonderful old bridge relic in the middle. Pets are welcome. The park has 15 cabins, a nice camp kitchen, modern amenities and all roads throughout are sealed. The park is close to where the Sturt Highway goes over the Murrumbidgee River so some traffic noise is unavoidable. Your hosts are Jim and Lynda Moss. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on 11th June 2006.

We stayed here on our way to Canberra for a dog show. We had a budget ensuite cabin which was very clean and suited us perfectly. We were able to park our dog float and car right outside the door. Ample lawns and roadways to walk our dogs. We & our dogs were made to feel welcome and we will certainly be staying here again. Merry P, Adelaide SA..
We stayed in this park in February 2015. This would have to be the best park we have stayed in, the amenities block camp kitchen and laundry are spotless and are a credit to Dee and Matt . With the temperature in the mid thirties we found the pool to be very refreshing, the pool, surroundings and all the park are clean tidy and neatly mowed...

We stayed in this caravan park in July 2014. The park was excellent and we will definitely stay there again and also recommend it to other travellers. Jim and Lynda Moss were outstanding, their assistance for our requests was always pleasant, courteous and dealt with expediently. The park itself was great. We were offered a picturesque site on the bank of the river with concrete pads and all other amenities and were able to use an enclosed fire at night. The amenities blocks were always clean and tidy. The park is close to town with a short walk to shops, restaurants, club and pub. The parks location also gave us easy access to the local national parks. All in all a fabulous stay.

We stayed here overnight mid-June 2013 and again coming back from Qld. early July. Would definitely recommend this park to anyone. Traffic noise didn't bother us at all.
