Ian Packer reviews Broken Hill City Caravan Park in Broken Hill NSW.

Our roving reporter Ian Packer of Gymea bay NSW reviews Broken Hill City Caravan Park in NSW.

“Caravan Park itself is nice, clean and spacious BUT we had our hand bags stolen from the van during the night while we were asleep!

Police were called and everyone was most sympathetic however we lost all our cards, money, identification.

This apparently was not an isolated case although to come into the van was a new escalation of the crime.
Be careful and lock the van of a nightime.

We were told by the police that Dubbo caravan parks were even worse!

Can recommend Dubbo City van Park as it has barbed wire on fences and locks the gate of a nightime.”

Julie Melnacis of Beaudesert QLD reviews Anchorage Holiday Park Iluka NSW

Julie Melnacis of Beaudesert QLD writes:

“This is a great place for families. The kids had a ball and not once did we feel they were unsafe. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable as was the whole park. Everyone was always very friendly. We will be definitely going back.”

Kylie Lyndon reviews Anchorage Holiday Park in Iluka NSW.

Our roving reporter Kylie Lyndon of Gold Coast Queensland reviews Anchorage Holiday Park in NSW.

“Fantastic family holiday park. We have 4 children who were all fully occupied for the full 7 days we stayed, with fishing competitions, Dress up New Years Eve party, fantastic safe swimming pool and spa, bird feeding, tandem carts for riding and a really nice bunch of other campers with many kids to play with.

The local beach front pub was great for meals.

This had to have been one of the most relaxing holidays we have had for a long time.”

Don Sproule reviews Glenron in Coolah NSW.

Our roving reporter Don Sproule of Perth Western Australia reviews Glenron in NSW.

“Stayed here on way Vic to Qld. Liked the no fuss, rural atmosphere without all the hoo haa.
found the owners to be very accommodating, nothing too much trouble. even got 1/2 doz fresh eggs from the chooks delivered in the morning.

Especially impressed with the ability to have a campfire & our dog was treated like a paying guest.

Visited Coolah Tops Nat Park next day with no extra to leave van until late afternoon & they minded the dog as well.

Excellent overnighter or stay for a couple of days to wind down.”

Maria Coutsis of Mordialloc Victoria reviews Blue Gums Riverside Holiday Park Eildon Victoria

The following review was kindly supplied by our roving reporter Maria Coutsis of Mordialloc Victoria:

“This park is on the banks of the Goulburn River with swimming, fishing and excellent kayaking. The park has good quality cabins (some new), large grassed and shady powered sites, some along the river and plenty of parkland for unpowered camping.

There are three amenities blocks, two pools, a games room, large playground and volley ball, full shop, undercover BBQs and full camp kitchen.

This is a great place to spend some time with plenty to do in the area.

The management are friendly and very helpful.”
