Josh Cook reviews Mataranka Homestead Tourist Resort in Mataranka Northern Territory.

Our roving reporter Josh Cook of Perth Western Australia reviews Mataranka Homestead Tourist Resort in Northern Territory.

“Phil and Clare maybe stayed at a differant park to us we stayed at Mataranka Homestead and found 3 large amenities blocks, 2 near new, with 2 laundries. The meals in the restaurant were better than average much better than you would expect. The live entertainment in the open bar area around the camp fire was excellent. The themal pools as always were beautiful.

We met the owners Steve and Deb who said they are here most of the year but still maintain a house in Perth for when ever they can get a spare week or so.

I also caught my first barra 100metres from the bar. It was also great to be able to have a small camp fire outside my van which makes it feel like I’m really camping. We also had our small dog and were put into the designated area. I didnt have to drive my car at all for 5 days as its all there at the homestead.”
