Our roving reporter, Patrick Kelly, recently stayed in a cabin at the High Country Holiday Park in Mansfield Victoria and was impressed by the facilities and service of the park. He writes:
“We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, $95 per night, very reasonable. Two separate bedrooms both containing a double bed. Also a futon couch in the lounge. En suite, reasonable water pressure, kitchenette with 2 burner cooker, microwave, full size fridge, all plates, appliances, utensils etc. Facilities include a rec room, unheated pool, BBQ (uncovered), small kiosk with ice, boom gate security entry. Lovely quiet, leafy park with a good mix of cabins, sites and a bunkhouse. Very close to town, 3 pubs, supermarket, Info Centre, milk bar and pizza shop all within short walking distance. The cabin was very clean and well equipped, we would happily stay here again.”
