Judith Howes review Bailey Bar Caravan Park Charleville Queensland

Our roving reporter Judith Howes from Bunbury in Western Australia recently visited the Bailey Bar Caravan Park in Charleville Queensland and sent this report:

“Awesome park! Friendly owners who parked our vans preventing the disputes!! We were 3 vans and were made very welcome. Lost on the yabbie races!! but all great fun. The stew and roasts were delicious! Facilities were very clean. Will certainly be back there!”

  1. Yes I agree the owners are very friendly people and would help you with any information about any attractions in town 10 out of 10 for there local knowledge and help. But the room we got said it was a new cabin/unit I am sorry but I beg to differ. The floor in the cabin/unit we had was uneven and the toilet door would not open or close properly (except with a bit of force) The TV in the unit was in a good spot but it was only any good if you wanted to watch SBS and nothing else. The air conditioning in the cabin/unit was the only new part in there (which when they got put in were placed above the old ones left in the wall). They said there was Austar in the kitchen camp hall, well the connections were there and nothing else (even if the Austar box was present the TV didn’t work). If I had to give this a rating out of five for the cabims/units I am sorry but it would have to be one and a half to two it might have been higher if I had my my own camper trailer or caravan

  2. During the summer of 2010 this unit was fully refurished addressing the above issues. I would welcome anyone tp preview our cabins and units PRIOR to checking in to reassure any concerns. Thanks for your comments Wendy
