Sally-Anne Pucek reviews Lake Albert Caravan Park at Meningie South Australia

Our roving reporter Sally-Anne Pucek from Willaston in South Australia sent us this report on Lake Albert Caravan Park at Meningie:

“We have stayed several times at the Park in Cabins. It’s a nice quiet Park overlooking the lake. The cabins are very clean, smell fresh and new, the ablutions blocks are clean spacious and it is a large facility… The camp hosts are friendly and helpful.

We also ate several times at the Cheese Factory restaurant for lunch and dinner. I’m very partial to the chicken salad and my husband loves the fresh coorong fillets. As a bonus, Meningie has a large public hospital – great if you want a nice quiet holiday away but have health issues. The cabins have disability access ramps. There are two supermarkets open extended trading hours so if you arrive late or on a Sunday you can refurbish your camping supplies.

Meninge is a small friendly town with everything you need for a good holiday.”
