New Villas Arrive at the Bellinger River Tourist Park Repton NSW

For the first time ever the Bellinger River Tourist Park will be able to offer ensuite accommodation. The first of our new river front villas arrived at the park this morning. It was quite a spectacle and many of our guests thanked us for providing the mornings entertainment! The new villas are replacing some of our on site caravans and therefore have not taken up any of our riverfront tourist sites.

We have all had a rather nervous morning – it really was a very tight squeeze! Thank you to our guests who have offered support and cups of tea over the past couple of hours. We look forward to sharing a glass of champagne with you all at happy hour this afternoon.

“It might be mid-winter but the weather has been glorious here in Repton. We took this photo first thing this morning – the river was like glass! We are now off to a happy hour on the riverbank to celebrate the shortest day whilst watching was is promising to be another stunning sunset over the river!

Oh by the way – this 71cm flathead was caught from the park this afternoon – congratulations to John & Jeanette, this is a sure contender for our catch of the week!”

The sun is shining at Bellinger River Tourist Park, Repton NSW

Tracey from Bellinger River Tourist Park writes:

“The main topic of conversation on the Mid North Coast at the moment is the weather… We have had a lot of rain over the last 48 hours but thankfully we were spared the horrendous conditions experienced further north. We would like to pass on our thanks to all the friends of the park who have called to check that we are still above water. I am very pleased to report that the Bellinger River was never in any danger of flooding this time around and today we have woken up to a bright and sunny day. We are still very wet underfoot but being on the river flats we will dry out in no time at all.

Everything is fresh and green and the waterfalls will be spectacular at the moment. The fishermen already have their lines back in the water hoping that the fish will be hungry!”
