It appears that there has been a significant decline in the number of people searching for caravan parks over the past month according to data supplied by Google Insights for Search.
No reasons are offered for this and it may be purely seasonal.
South Australia scored the highest for regional interest and Queensland the second lowest of Australian states which is surprising because it normally attracts considerable interest in winter. NSW is at the bottom of the table.
“We stayed for 3 nights in May 2011. This is an average Council owned park and quite suitable for a night or two…unfortunately the park does not appear to be maintained correctly, during our stay the amenities block was quickly cleaned just the one time, the shower curtains should have dumped ages ago, the BBQ was not cleaned at all and was very dirty. The laundry contained a domestic type of dryer that was not working, a shed containing many cleaning chemicals was left in an open, unlocked condition even when the on-site caretaker was absent. Perhaps someone from the Council should drop by this park. On a positive side the sites are spacious, The town, walking distance away, was pretty. $23 per night is ok value.”

Overlooking the giant jumping pillow, the room is used to hold the array of kids activities that are offered to our guests all year round including soap making, plaster painting, chocolate making and sand art. The Kids Club room is a great addition to our park’s other fantastic range of facilities like 3 resort pools, playground, mini golf and buggies . Looking forward to seeing you soon at Treasure Island!
