Our roving reporter Rosemarie Edwards has written another despatch, this time from the Northern Territory:
When caravanning in the northern territory, we decided we would check out different places to stay, one was a place called Manbulloo Homestead, which is from Katherine, 9kms along the Victoria highway and turn right then 3kms to the property all good bitumen roads.
This is a working cattle property, that has a small, well grassed caravan park set out under an avenue of large shady trees, in a peaceful rural environment on the banks of the Katherine river, you can enjoy bird-watching & bushwalking or fishing in the river . The amenities, laundry and camp kitchen are all very clean. The park is pet friendly
What a way to unwind after a long day travelling.
