Pet Friendly

Kookaburra Caravan Park is located at 66 Marine Tce - S , Busselton. Bunbury is located 172km south of Perth The park offers clean, modern ablutions, disabled facilities, campers' kitchen and undercover BBQ area. We have shady, grassed sites, some with concrete pads and an underground TV systems. Dogs on leads are welcome except during the Dec/January holidays and Easter but are never allowed into onsite accommodation.

The Busselton Jetty is a great place for a spot of fishing and a walk out to visit the Underwater Observatory. Other attractions are sailing, boating (boat ramp nearby), surfing (Yallingup), golf, wineries and craft shops. Situated 240kms south of Perth visitors can experience the beauty of the Tuart and Karri forests, the unspoilt bushlands, beaches and tranquil waters of Geographe Bay. The park is ideal for group or clubs booking such as rally, car or caravan clubs. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you found them on Caravan Park Photos.

Stayed 4 nights in Sept 2014. Neat Council run park. Sites are close together, however there is room to park the vehicle next to or in front of the van. The park is on the corner of Marine Tce and Brown St. No perimeter fence, which probably is a good thing as the park is not all that large. Walking distance to the Main Street. Has a dump point. Toilets and showers cleaned daily but with a full park this is not enough. Staff friendly and provided guidance to site parking. We were on a site adjacent to Brown St so did not fell closed in. $30 a night would stay there again. Pet friendly.

Please note the photo of the powered sites right on the main road and back into from the road were taken from a side street, which is the road seen directly in front of the camera. This side street leads to Busselton jetty.

The caravan park is very nice, perhaps the sites are a little claustrophobic, but nevertheless there is room to put the car if not next to the awning, in front of the van. The park appears to be council owned and has a mix of concrete annex slabs and shadecloth ground cover where the awning is. The park has a hotel nearby which has $10 meals each evening, although I found the drinks a little expensive. Between the park and the hotel is a small cemetery. The residents here didn't make too much noise. The park is also within walking distance of the town, and the beach.
