Clermont Caravan Park - Clermont QLD

Clermont is a small country town of 2,400 people. The Clermont Caravan Park is a spacious park located in a quiet part of the town. The park looks out to open fields. The park has 94 powered sites and very good amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The resident managers are Cindy and Bruce who are very enthusiastic about the park. A big thank you to the lovely people who run the caravan park. My accommodation, accomodation was spotless and thank you for the welcome you gave me. Agree with all the comments but would like to add the staff made us aware of a free tour of the Blair Atholl mine. They arranged bookings for us and it was a fantasic day out. Cannot recommend highly enough. George Lacey, Brisbane QLD.

The Clermont Caravan Park is a lovely place and the shower and toilet blocks are always clean.
I would just like to clarify the comment below, the campers that were in the camping area were mainly builders that had been camping here for such a long time and when it rained they did wheelies into the camping area and churned it up making it look like this, so just wondering why people like you are taking their word on what the manager said?
The managers will bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasant as possible, I am also thinking that it would have been a slippery when wet sign at the toilet block rather than closed for cleaning. I have had nothing but kindness from the managers at this caravan park.

We recently visited Clermont and stayed at the Clermont caravan park. The toilets and shower facilities were very dirty, there was a closed for cleaning sign up for over 2 hours one day and no one was cleaning. It did rain while we were there and the park turned into a mud puddle. I have added photo's we took of the camping grounds in the park. We were told when the manager was approached regarding the problem he told the campers to park 150 mtrs away on the road. This would have meant walking through the mud to tents in the rain, usually carrying gear, shopping, children. The people in the camping area were still expected to pay high rates for the sites. Loved Clermont but felt the Caravan Park was a let down.
